Originally the Galles Hotel was a prestigious noble residence constructed in 1902 and transformed into a hotel in 1968, yet has retained much of the original décor, reflecting the style in fashion during the reign of Umberto I. The hotel is located in front of the National Library and close to the Termini Train Station.
